Nasugn ("we", "us", "our") operates the Nasugn Vigil camera monitoring service available at app.nasugn.com and nasugn.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use our service:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account.
• Camera video: Live video streams and cloud recordings from cameras you connect to the service.
• Usage data: Log data such as IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps.
• Payment information: Billing details are handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store your card number or payment details on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Nasugn Vigil service.
• To send you sign-in links and service notifications via email.
• To send motion alert notifications when enabled.
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• To diagnose technical issues and improve the service.

3. Video and Recordings

Video streams and recordings are stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the ap-southeast-2 (Sydney) region. Each tenant's data is isolated using scoped AWS credentials. Recordings are retained for up to 12 months and are only accessible by you via signed, time-limited URLs.

We do not view, analyse, or share your camera footage.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

• Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure, video streaming (Kinesis Video Streams), and storage (S3).
• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
• Resend — transactional email delivery (sign-in links, alerts).
• Crisp — live customer support chat.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained while your account is active.
• Camera recordings are stored for up to 12 months and then automatically deleted.
• If you close your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Export your data in a portable format.

7. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, per-tenant credential isolation, and signed URLs for all media access. We do not store plaintext passwords.

8. Cookies

We use only essential session cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

9. Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
